If the Stark’s Park side can take all three points when Dundee visit Stark’s park this Saturday, then they would leapfrog the Dens Park side in the league table.

And if the result goes their way at Tynecastle with a Hearts win where current second placed side Dunfermline are visitors, then John McGlynn’s men will claim the second spot on goal difference and with a game in hand on both Dundee and the Pars.

Hearts win in Kirkcaldy had an air of revenge about it after Raith claimed their first win at Hearts’ home since 1993 on Saturday, so Raith supporters will be hoping they take to the pitch this weekend with the same attitude after Dunfermline inflicted the first defeat of the season on the Edinburgh side with a 2-1 win at East End Park back in November.

Elsewhere in the league it’s no wins in five versus one win in five when Ayr United welcome Alloa to Somerset Park.

The home side’s last Championship win was at the start of December when they recorded a 2-0 win over this weekend’s opponents.

Inverness will be praying that they get the go ahead for their first game since December 29.
