Raith Rovers match with Inverness tomorrow due to the Covid breakout at Stark’s Park.

The home Championship fixture has been postponed after Rovers announced they were unable to field the minimum match day squad after the Covid-19 virus had spread throughout the first team squad and backroom staff.

The SPFL granted the club’s request to reschedule this afternoon.

Rovers had tried to bring in some emergency loan signings to make up the player shortfall but were unable to do so.

The outbreak came after Championship clubs were told to carry out mandatory Covid testing earlier this week.

The Inverness match will now be played at a later date.
