Raith Rovers Euro mag scores with fans

A brand new magazine from Raith Rovers, marking the club’s UEFA Cup adventures in the 1990s, has proved a smash hit with the club’s supporters.

The ‘Europe Blinked’ magazine is now into its second print run after all initial copies were snapped up by the Stark’s Park faithful after it went on sale at the beginning of the month.

The special magazine marks the 25th anniversary of the club’s UEFA Cup campaign, culminating in that memorable night in Germany in 1995 when the club gave an almighty fright to the mighty Bayern Munich.

It’s a comprehensive record of the six-match campaign, packed full with supporters' stories amd memories, making it an essential buy for all Rovers diehards.

It contains a foreword by journalist and regular Hall of Fame host Bill Leckie, as well as the recollections of Danny Lennon, Davie Sinclair, Colin Cameron, Scott Thomson, Jason Dair and other former players, as well as the manager that led the team in Europe, Jimmy Nicholl.

It also features supporters’ reminiscences and photos, tales of Swalligators and the Pars going to Greenock, as well as a special message from Bayern legend Oliver Kahn.

It costs £10 and all proceeds will go directly to the club, with £1 from every sale to Kirkcaldy Foodbank.

The magazine is only available online at the website raithrovers.myshopify.com or in the club’s new pop up shop in the Merchant’s Quarter on the High Street, which is situated in the Enlightenments community hub.
