“We’ll get back to our League One rivalry with Arbroath. Dick Campbell’s doing a great job there and had them finish in sixth position in the Championship and that’s something we can take some belief and inspiration from.
“Every game we had with them in League One was close and I imagine this will be the same.” McGlynn said the fixtures being released finally put an end to months of uncertainty as the SPFL became embroiled in the legal battle with Hearts and Partick Thistle, before it was finally confirmed at the beginning of this week that raith’s promotion from League One would stand.
“We got the weight off our shoulders with e the arbitration verdict coming through,”

“We have a lot of difficult fixtures; we’re away to Queen of the South, Dundee and Inverness in our first five games so, but that’s where we want to be.
“We want to be in the Championship and playing these games, that’s what it’s all about. It goes with the territory.”
He added: “We’re just delighted to be this league and we’ll give it our best shot.”
