Raith sign young forward in time to face Dumbarton
The 20-year-old forward, who can play off the front or out wide, had been training with Raith after leaving Tannadice this week, and he will go straight into the squad to face Dumbarton at Stark’s Park tomorrow.
Connolly made his breakthrough at Queen’s Park in 2012, scoring on his debut while still at school, and his eye-catching performances earned him a move to United, along with team mate Andrew Robertson, in June 2013.

The Rovers manager described Connolly as “creative and very technical with a great left foot” and he will hope the youngster can provide the missing spark in the final third after 270 minutes without a goal.
