It was 33 years ago this month Raith Rovers won promotion back to the old First Division - and the Frank Connor era began.
These images, from the Fife Free Press archive, capture the emotion of that never to be forgotten, nail-biting day at Stair Park, when Rovers stormed to a 4-1 win over Stranraer to clinch promotion - a race that went right to the wire.
They were taken by Bill Dickman, who was chief photographer of the Press, and who travelled to the south-west of Scotland to capture one of the most important days in the history of the club on Saturday, May 9, 1987.
Many of the scenes of celebration featuring the team and fans have never been seen before.
