The surface presented a great opportunity to play football from back to front and that’s what AM set about doing, as they made the home side chase.

Houston and Lawson went close for the visitors before Lawson continued his hot streak by heading home a deep free kick to open the scoring.

Rosebank were not offering too much threat but a couple of counter attacks led to shots that were high and wide in the end.

AMsoccer kicked off the second half, fresh in the knowledge that missed chances proved costly last week but only minutes in, Ross Falconer arrived at the back post to turn home after sharp attacking play involving Houston and Macaulay.

Goal number three would seal the game and Lawson was, as he so often is the man in the right place to convert.

In truth, the game went through a slow phase, as AM looked to retain the ball whilst the home side dusted themselves down.

The introduction of Galloway sparked more life into the game and after supplying a couple of chances, he scored himself as a result of some neat movement to get on the end of Lawson’s cross.

MOM – Callum Houston.
