At the weekend’s PFA awards ceremony, the Fifers added even more silverware to an already glittering campaign.

Nathan Austin, whose 22 league goals helped shoot the side to the championship, was named the PFA Scotland League Two player of the season.

And he was joined in picking up medals by Jonathan Page, Gary Naysmith and Kyle Wilkie who were all named in the PFA League Two team of the year.

The inclusion of the player/boss in the team of the year comes some 18 years after Naysmith picked up the young player of the season award at the same ceremony.

Austin now departs the Fifers to join up with Peter Houston’s promotion chasing Falkirk side.
