The visitors opened the scoring on 12 minutes when Barry Sibanda headed home.

An injury to Richie Lawson forced Hearts into an early change and substitute Cameron Greenhill made an immediate impact setting up Jaime Leslie for goal number two.

Then Kyle Baker converted a Lee Sibanda corner on the half hour mark as Cupar dominated the game.

A rare shot by Kirkcaldy from outside the box saw Dale Wotherspoon easily save.

Just before the break Calum Hutchison brought the best out of the home ‘keeper who managed to get his fingertips to a long distance shot but Hearts couldn’t capitalise from the corner kick.

Captain Iain Boylan made it four when he headed in a perfectly placed cross by Scott McBride.

Five minutes later great play up the wing by Cameron Greenhill was finished by Kyle Baker who fired a low drive into the bottom corner.

Kirkcaldy had no reply and could only muster a wild shot high over the bar.

The game finished as it started with a Barry Sibanda header into the back of net to pick up all three points and keep Hearts at the top of the table.

Following the game, striker Sibanda departed the Duffus Park Club.

Sibanda has moved back to Dundonald Bluebell, with the Fife side thanking Cupar for their assistance in getting the deal for the striker finalised.
