Star and Hibs aim to take to the field

Thornton Hibs and Kennoway Star Hearts were forced into cold storage at the weekend along with the majority of other East of Scotland League sides.

Wintery conditions made pitches up and down the country made conditions impossible for football.

Kennoway’s match with Edinburgh South was forced off due to a waterlogged pitch with Hibs’ game with Arniston also suffering due to the weather.

They’ll be hoping to return to the pitch this weekend.
