They will be split into two teams managed by Jimmy Nicholl and John McGlynn, and they will all wear jerseys numbered 53.

And in the 53rd game the game will stop for a minute’s applause in honour of Ally who died aged 53.

The event has been organised by the Hall of Fame team - of which Ally was a member - and Alistair Cameron said: ‘@we’ve had a fantastic feedback from the players and fans, and are hugely indebted to Raith Rovers for their help behind the scenes in staging this unique game.

‘’We cannot think of a single fan who has been honoured by a club in this way, but it underlines the huge respect and love everyone had for Ally - and the outstanding commitment he had towards Rovers.’’
