Glenrothes made the trip to Dundee to face East Craigie looking to keep their unbeaten league form going.

In the first minute a pass from Martin to Napier looked promising but was well defended.

Walls broke clear for the home side but Guppy made a fine save.

Jackson forged forward from the Glens defence but was stopped on the 18 yard line before he could pull the trigger.

Glenrothes were starting to dominate the match and Scarborough looked likely to score, but miskicked from a good position.

Glenrothes were lacking the killer finish and the first half finished goalless.

Smith was getting plenty of action down the left and after an effort was punched over the bar by Logie, from the corner the East Craigie ‘keeper dropped the ball but there was no takers.

Glens got the goal they deserved in on the hour mark when Scarborough sprung the offside trap to shoot home.

If ever a game needed a bit of inspiration it was this one and Glens manager Benny Andrews rang the changes with a double substitution, Anderson for Steele and Sawers for Smith.

Glens extended their lead in the 72nd minute when Scarborough laid off on the edge of the 18 yard line to the waiting Griffin who made no mistake rattling in off the post.

The game was killed off in the with five minutes to go when a through ball from Napier found sub Falconer who confidently tucked it away.

Glenrothes face Arbroath Vics this Saturday at Warout with a 2.30 p.m kick off.
