Vandals strike at Kirkcaldy & Dysart’s ground

The fence was climbed at Alex Penman Park by a group who set fire to the grass and left rubbish and smashed bottles behind.

A statement on the club’s Facebook page read: “Like a lot of clubs at our level, we are a volunteer-led club who spend countless hours working hard to improve the club for the community.

“We cannot understand the stupidity of those involved who feel the need to do this to our club and others across the country.

“Luckily, we have recently installed CCTV which has clear facial images of all those who entered the ground.

“These images have since been handed over to the police.”
