Competing with over two dozen other golfers from as far afield as London, Aberdeen and the Scottish Islands of Harris and Arran, Jim shot a one over par round at Dalmahoy and a two under par round at the Duddingston Course.

The title was won by Scott Anderson of Aberdeen with a three under, two round total.

Jim said, “I was seven shots away from the lead after round one so knew that I would have to shoot something special on day two and was very surprised after some steady scoring at Duddingston, that all bar one of the overnight leaders had fallen away with poor scores.” Jim is hoping to make Team Scotland later in the year for theRyder Cup Auld Enemies match against the English.
