Sarah Nimmo contested the unforgiving Isoman Challenge at Redditch on Saturday. The course comprises a seven- mile swim and 61-mile cycle – a test that is on a par with any Ironman triathlon event in terms of distance.

Sarah managed to clock a brilliant time of 9 hours 3 mins across the gruelling course. She put in a great effort on what is one of the hardest triathlon courses in Britain.

In the Lake District, Kevin Davie was in action in the Windermere Standard Triathlon. He completed the course in 2 hours 48 minutes 12 seconds to finish an excellent 76th out of 218 finishers.

A particularly impressive time in the 10k run was enough to secure Kevin’s place comfortably inside the top 100.

Shropshire was the destination for Mike Clark, who took part in the Half Ironman competition at Deanford Lake. He finished the self-proclaimed ‘Ultimate Half Triathlon’ in an impressive time of 7 hours 40 minutes.

Closer to home, a group of members completed the full Fife Coastal Path on their mountain bikes, covering 115 miles over two days.
