As well as making friends, golf is a great way to stay healthy, with around 450 calories burned completing just nine holes.
If you’ve always watched the sport from the outside, wanting to get involved but thinking that ship had sailed - think again.
In partnership with the Fife Herald and St Andrews Citizen, the Largoward based St Andrews Golf Co. School of Golf is offering a relative novice, around the age of retirement or having retired already, the chance to take up the game and enjoy all the benefits it brings.

Hide AdAcross a six week period one lucky entrant will be coached from a beginner to a winner at the facility with their progress featured in our titles.
During the twelve 90 minute lessons some fundamentals of golf will be addressed:
To hit the ball with some degree of consistency.
To hit the ball as far as possible to make the game enjoyable.
To understand the pleasure that drives so many to play golf.
