Becky was in excellent company with eight of her LLV club mates also taking part, giving her the usual LLV help and encouragement in taking on her latest challenge.

The four mile long straight section between Tillicoultry and Menstrie is almost always run into the teeth of a strong wind and this year was no exception.

The day before, Tam Cullen wasn’t holding back at Kirkcaldy parkrun where he set yet another personal best.

Also on the half marathon trail were Robin Pate and Josephine Lenachen at Loch Katrine Running Festival, an annual event which raises funds for Alzheimers Scotland.

The picturesque gem of a route around the loch is well known for for its multiple small undulating hills which may have bugged some, but didn’t stop Robin and Josephine from completing the course.
