Scotland’s ice hockey resurgence continues with the ‘‘full house’’ signs out once more.

Friday’s game between Braehead Clan and Fife Flyers has drawn another capacity crowd as the great east-west rivals clash once more.

Fans without tickets have been urged not to travel unless they plan to go shopping in the adjacent mall - because the rink is full to capacity.

Demand for tickets was always going to be high after last season’s epic showdowns.

The sides played in front of several capacity crowds as they both made it to the British championship finals weekend in Nottingham - and that trend seems set to continue throughout the 2014-15 season.

The teams have met once already with Flyers skating to a 4-0 victory in Kirkcaldy.

Now the action swings along the M8 with Flyers expected to take a big support with them, while Clan fans will be out in force to welcome their team back after five weeks on the road.

The game has a 7.30 p.m. face-off.
