Dorr goes Down Under for summer of ice hockey
He has joined Perth Thunder in Australia, and will be on the ice for his first game on April 23.
Dorr, from Minnesota, only left Kirkcaldy last week at the end of the 2015-16 EIHL campaign which saw Flyers reach the semi-finals of the play-offs for the second time in three seasons.

Thunder play in the AIHL. The club was only founded in 2010 and stepped up to join the league as its ninth team in 2012. They finished fourth in their inaugural campaign.
Dorr is one of several players to move from the EIHL to the AIHL - James Isaacs is at Melbourne Mustangs, while Paul Swindlehurst and Grant Toulmin are icing with Sydney Ice Dogs.
Dorr is Thunder’s third import signing.
Stan Scott, general manager, was quoted on the club’s website that the deal was done some time ago.

“I see a lot of goals coming from him this season; he is an excellent skater and a hard working two way player. I believe he is a very exciting signing for us.”
