Fife Flyers’ players will say a final a farewell to the fans before heading home for the summer.
Most of the team is expected to fly out by the end of the week, so the club has arranged a get-together for Wednesday evening which will bring the curtain down on the 2015-16 season.
It takes place in the curling bar at the rink with a 7.00 p.m. start.
Danny Stewart has already announced his retirement as a player, and there may be others not returning although Todd Dutiaume, head coach, is keen to retain the core of the team that went all the way to the championship semi-finals in Notttingham.
As part of the evening, Flyers’ shop will be open to sell play-off merchandising, and the remaining sponsored warm-up and game worn jerseys will be available for collection.
Gold season ticket holders can also collect their framed team photos.
A club spokesman said: ‘‘This is your last chance to get items signed before the boys leave for the summer break. It’s also a great time to congratulate Danny Stewart on his awesome playing career as he prepares to hang up his skates and retire from playing professional ice hockey.’’
