Jordan Buesa signs for Spanish team

The 20-year-old from Troon signed up for a third year at the Fife Ice Arena in August but with the cancellation of the EIHL he has moved on to Spanish side Majadahonda.

The forward will ice in the Liga Nacional de Hockey Hielo this season, but on his Twitter page hinted at a possible return to Kirkcaldy.

He tweeted: “Very grateful and excited to play for Majadahonda in Madrid . Then fingers crossed @FifeFlyers we can safely get hockey back next season.”

The club also posted a tweet wishing Buesa well, adding: “We hope to see you back in Flyers colours soon.”
