This brought opposition captain and main danger-man Burgess to the crease and with it a match changing partnership with Burt.
With runs coming steadily the Largo team couldnt break the partnership and SMRH were beginning to pull away before Burt was removed finally by Anderson for 57 however the dangerous Burgess remained.
This wicket brought the introduction of Bob Mowat after his man of the match performance with the bat last week.

SMRH finished on 182 all out.
Largo started towards chasing their target and couldn’t have had a worse start as they were quickly 2-2 with Rintoul and A.Brown out both without scoring.
Thankfully for Largo though this brought usual second team captain Baddeley to the wicket and with Mowat again showing great early season form they steadied the Largo innings.
Once seeing off captain Burgess who recorded amazing figures of 2-6 with seven maidens in his spell Baddeley and Mowat both reached 50 and gave Largo a sniff of an unlikely win.

A much altered second team faced Peebles County.
Captain Coates won the toss and put Peebles in to bat.
Unable to get the wicket of the two openers cost Largo dear, the first wicket not falling until Peebles were 95 when Ben Coates took the first of his two wickets, Maxwell (48), caught by the elder Coates.
Peebles continued to score runs at will and Peebles were on 190 before Ben Coates had Chatt (51) caught smartly by Williams in his final over.
Peebles lost two wickets in quick succession at the end, Ben Coates running out Waddell (82) followed by Filsell stumping Common for 0 off Nairne.
Peebles finished on 236/4.
