Lorna hits the parkrun century mark

Almost four years to the day that Lorna Hughes of Leven Las Vegas joined the Leven Jog Scotland group, she was at Craigtoun Park in St Andrews completing her one hundredth 5k parkrun.

Lorna will now wear the black 100 t-shirt which is only awarded to those who have completed 100 parkruns.

The latest in this season’s Nightmare Series, the Kinghorn Coastal Path Chaos took place on Friday night with over 80 competitors tackling the 4.2 mile out and back route.

Mark McLean, Bryan McLaren, John Kay, Robin Pate, Allen Marr, Terry Cullen, Collette Ives, Gordon Christie, Tam Cullen, Dan Haran, Grant Stevenson, Chris Russell and Sarah Ives all flew the LLV flag.

Chris took first place. The race raised £250 for the Fife Society for the Blind.
