Marathon effort from Leven runners

A warm sunny day with the air filled with midges was probably not the best half marathon conditions but that's what nine Leven Las Vegas runners did when they took on the 13.1 mile circumnavigation of Loch Leven.

Gordon Christie, Gordon Taylor, Terry Cullen, Matthew Miller, Dan Haran, Bryan McLaren, Tricia Wallace, Lorna Hughes and Jeff Taylor overcame the elements.

At the Dunfermline parkrun Allen Marr had finished first in his age group.

Other notable performances at the Loch Leven Half Marathon were achieved under the guidance of Jog Leader Malcolm Mactavish’s Get Fit in Falkland group.

At the parkruns twelve LLV were in action with fine performances from Michaela Sullivan and Robin Pate who ran personal bests.
