Due to the Fife Flyers qualifying for the playoff finals weekend, the Matt Nickerson #ByeByeBeard event will take place after the games are played with a date to be confirmed.
This means fans still have time to donate to Matt’s chosen charity, CHAS.
The Flyers have extended the Just Giving Page deadline, so you can keep donating right up until the #ByeByeBeard event.
Matt’s wife will also be cutting off her hair in support of CHAS and The Little Princess Trust.
Noora will donate her hair to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs out of real hair for children who are receiving treatment for cancer.
Any money raised for Noora’s #ByeByeHair or Matt’s #ByeByeBeard event will go direct to CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association Scotland)
You can donate to these great fundraising efforts by the Nickersons at www.justgiving.com/Fife-Flyers1Nickerson
Matt is offering people who donate money via his Just Giving page the chance to trim or shave off his iconic beard.
He will also reward the highest bidder by donating a signed game used stick, which he will present to the lucky person at the end of season awards.
All donations are welcome and the lucky person who will get to grips with Matts beard will be selected at random from all who donate.
Matt said: “I would love to help raise even more money for this great charity.”
