FIFE bowls devotee, Bob Dick, has been recognised for his commitment to the game at the recent Disability Sport annual general meeting.
Mr Dick, of Cupar, was awarded the Fife trophy as Coach of the Year.
He is one of Scotland’s most experienced and respected coaches and represented his country as a player on 22 occasions, before managing the mainstream men’s national team at the World Championships in 2002 and also in 2004, when he led Scotland to the world title in Ayr.
Bob was the Commonwealth Games coach and manager for the Scottish men’s bowls team in Melbourne and Manchester.
