Glenrothes Strollers Colts....................2

KENNOWAY looked to win back some confidence and pride after a heavy defeat last week – and they certainly accomplished it.

They took only two minutes to open the scoring, with Cape netting.

Kennoway continued to pile on the pressure and Cape was again on the scoresheet for his second goal, before completing his hat-trick three minutes later.

McLaren then finished off a lovely through ball from Davis with a great strike.

Substitutions were made at half-time but McLaren tormented the Colts defence and engineered a wonderful cross which was turned into the net by a defender.

The Colts started off the second half as the better team and soon scored from a rebound after O’Brien saved.

Kennoway’s sixth goal came via a stunning free kick from Mitchell Davis.

Lack of concentration led to the second goal for Colts to make it 6-2.

Kennoway then went on to punish the Colts with constant pressure and two second-half substitutes netting five goals between them – a hat-trick from Fraser and two goals from Richie Lawson.
