North East Fife swimmers made up the number competing for Dundee City Aquatics at the SASA Midland District Age Group Swimming Championship last weekend.
Katie Steele, Amie McCrostie, Nicole Reynolds, Freddie Wilson, Rory Grant, Kirsten Grant, Emily Baxter, Conor Walsh, and Kirstin Haig were in action.
The swimmers, who attend school at either Madras College, Bell Baxter High School or High School of Dundee, were a part of the team who emerged as District Champions, narrowly beating holders Perth City, following race after race of fingertip finishes.
Between them, the swimmers won 30 medals, 13 of them gold.
Rory had a great meet, grabbing nine of the golds, and setting three new district records before narrowly missing out on their Scottish equivalents.
Nicole won three golds while Katie won her single gold in the challenging 200m butterfly, and in doing so became District Junior Champion, beating her teammate Iona Macleod by 3 100ths of a second.
Elsewhere Eilidh Grant was swimming as part of the Scottish Youth Development Squad.
It was her first selection to represent Scotland at a junior level at the Derventio Meet, at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.
She had an excellent meet, out swimming many more experienced competitors and posting a number of personal best times.
