First golf partnership training day

THE first Professional Golf Association supervised training and tuition day, has been held at Wellsgreen Academy near Kirkcaldy, by the Scottish Disability Golf Partnership.

It was attended by over 50 disabled beginners, novices and established golfers.

The SDGP were joined by an energy freedom technique practitioner, who helped individuals to overcome mental and emotional problems associated with the sport.

At Wellsgreen, the SDGP provided a golf lesson, use of practice facilities, catering and golf on the adjacent course for each person and participants included players with MS, Downs, stroke and car accident victims, as well as amputees and the sensory impaired.
