FIFE Floorball Club is looking for new players for the coming season.
The squad trains on Sundays at Kirkland High’s School’s sports hall and at Glenrothes High School on Wednesdays.
Club chairman Bob Paterson said local players aged 16 and over were being sought.
“Even if people want come along and just get fit and learn a new sport for fun, they are all welcome – we have sticks we can loan to players,” he added.
Floorball is an indoor hockey game developed in Sweden by ice hockey players for extra training and fitness.
It has been described as a mix of ice hockey and unihoc.
Fife Floorball Club has recently had three players selected for the men’s senior GB team and two for the men’s under-19s GB team, while the sport is due to played at the 2020 Olympics.
