Good fight night for Kirkcaldy Muay Thai club

Fighting Fit Gym in Kirkcaldy had four Muay Thai fighters back in action on Saturday night.

The Glen Pavillion in Dunfermline was the venue for an event organised by Highlanders Promotions based in Cowdenbeath.

First up was Dale Dorward from Kennoway who had been out of action for three years and was keen to to put on a show.

Competing in the 70kg category he didn’t disappoint, stopping his opponent in the third round.

Marcin Korecki was up next but unfortunatly his opponent was injured in the warm up and couldn’t compete.

Moldovan Gimi, from Kirkcaldy, was next into the ring fighting in the 63kg division.

This fight proved to be a real war with Moldovan putting his opponent down in the first round, only to be stopped himself in the fourth.

Last up was Markinch fighter Craig Stewart at 74kg, who was having his first C Class fight.

Up against a durable and very tough opponent, Craig caught him with a straight right in the first round to send him to the canvas.

From then on there was only going to be one winner as Craig continued to dominate and finally won by stoppage in the fith round against an opponent who never gave up.
