Lee Harley took the kick and didn’t let his team mates down as he made the score 1-1.
The second half saw Denbeath really begin to control the game with their man advantage taking its toll on the visitors.
The winner came when a rebounded shot landed at the feet of James Coventry who was quick to pounce and blasted past the stand-in Rosyth goalkeeper.
There was a late scare for Denbeath though, when Rosyth had the ball in the net from a set piece.
