Lomond BC post win in Leven sun and cold!

In their penultimate match of the season, Lomond Boys Club faced Leven Boys Club at Leven.

The game kicked off at 6.30pm with the sun shining. Both teams started well, but it was Lomond who scored first with a shot from Cory.

Shortly after Lomond had a chance again, but Kyle shot wide.

Then Lomond got awarded a penalty which the goalkeeper saved, but the ball fell to Brian who made it two.

Next, Calum made a good run and scored the third ,then after a good bit of play Leven scored making it 3-1.

Kyle made up for his earlier miss and scored a double, followed with goals by Nathan and Gregor to make it 7-1 at half-time to Lomond.

After the break the sun had dissapeared and it was freezing.

Leven came out strong and were defending well, but Kieran managed to get through and score.

Leven gave away another penalty and Nathan scored his second shortly after that.

Kieran got his second, then not to be outdone Cory scored his second.

Throughout the game, Leven’s keeper pulled off some good saves to keep the score down and it finished 11-1 to Lomond.

Next game is against Rosyth United at home.
