IN Thursday’s semi-finals of the Fife Bowling Championships at St Andrews, Kennoway enjoyed a winning double in singles events.
Senior event winner was Christopher Stein, who finished 21-12 ahead of Haig Hutchison (Coaltown of Wemyss).
Blair Fleming was equally impressive in the junior singles, with a 21-11 victory over J. Falconer (Buckhaven).
Ladybank overcame St Monans (G. Mitchell, B. Bowers and D. Creevy) in the triples with a 17-14 win.
Closest match of the night was in the senior fours, with the Crail line-up of W. Robertson, G. Cooper, D. Mayes and Ian Morton edging out the Buckhaven team of D. Thomson, I. England, Andy Harper and Bobby Cook 13-11.
The biggest win came in the fours, where Duffus Park outpointed Newburgh by 24-8.
