This brought A Brown to the wicket and despite some tight bowling the pair were patient waiting for the bad ball moving the score to 36 before an unfortunate top edge meant Warrander was gone for 19 caught well at fine leg by Hamilton.

The home side found it tough to score with A Brown the stand out with 25.

Going in to the latter overs a big push was needed, and thankfully through Dom Coates this push came.

Dom was finding the middle of the bat and along with I Brown pushed the score along with some handy boundaries up to 134-9 off Largo’s 40 overs, Dom finishing on 39.

Gillin and A Brown opened the bowling with no success.

Rintoul turned to Bentley and Anderson but the same mix of luck and good placement from the Falkland batsmen meant that they were well on top before Rintoul himself struck with the score on 84, bowling Meikle for 22.

The game from then on was all about Morris trying to score his century which, despite some good bowling from Scott, he managed with the winning runs meaning a nine wicket loss for Largo who travel to SMRH this weekend.
