Howe came to life when Fraser Clark made a break, Andrew Steven took it on, and Duncan McIntyre scored, but Guthrie hit the left upright with his conversion.

Hide AdAnother break by Nacamavuto led to a try by Sam Knudson, the scrum half, which Hagart converted, and he also converted the next try by Alex Ratcliffe.
The second half scoring was opened by Aberdeen replacement second row Alasdair Mackie who bulldozed over near the posts for their sixth try.
Rob Lind made ground from a scrum, Stewart Lathangie dummied through and Steven went over at the right corner, the try going unconverted.
some slick Aberdeen handling resulted in Lavery collecting his third try which was converted.

Aberdeen scored their eighth try when Hamilton went through a tackle to touch down, Hogart converting.
However the visitors claimed the lost try, a throw back to last season, when Clark took a tapped penalty inside his 25, and set in train a move which went the length of the park for Fraser Ellison to run over.
