April's Boys' Open at Lundin cancelled

The call was made by Scottish Golf following the most recent announcement by the first minister on the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Although a cautious pathway back towards mixing and socialising outdoors has been planned out, the event’s organisers believe these measures come just too soon to encourage golfers to travel to compete.

As well as the local event being called off, the Scottish Girls’ Open Championship in Longniddry as well and the Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open Championship at Royal Troon, all scheduled for early to mid-April, have also been cancelled.

Scottish Golf says the cancelled events will not be rescheduled and full refunds will be given to those who have entered .
