Connor Syme signs off from European Tour season as 2021 schedule is announced

Drumoig’s Connor Syme signed off from his return to the European Tour with an excellent showing at the end of season DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

Only those with enough Race to Dubai ranking points under their belt were handed a scorecard for the final event of the campaign with Connor’s terrific year on tour more than enough to see him involved.

It was a steady four days work, with the 25-year-old carding rounds of 73, 73, 72 and 68 to finish -2.

The European Tour this week announced details of next season’s schedule - with plenty to excite fans in north east Fife.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship makes a welcome return after having to be postponed this year.

It will be held at the Old Course, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie from September 30 to October 3, the week after the Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits.

The tour has also revealed that, after staging the Scottish Championship this year, Fairmont St Andrews will host another tour event, the Hero Open, which will take place from August 5-8.

The Scottish Open will again take place at The Renaissance Club in East Lothian from July 8-11.
