The club has ado to spend almost half of the year out of the water and have no competitions to look forward to for the foreseeable future due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.

To help bring some well needed festive cheer, the club asked swimmers to donate chocolate selection boxes.

The response from the local swimmers was remarkable and their efforts will be appreciated.

In one week, over 150 boxes were brought to training and these were handed over by the club captains Oliver Goad, Megan Martin and Sophie Sherriffs in December to the Cupar Foodbank.

The foodbank will be putting some of the boxes into its four-day Christmas hampers which are helping almost 80 local families.

Others will be kept for emergency visits during the Christmas and New Year period.
