The club was out in force at the Inverness Half Marathon, with nearly 20 runners making the journey north to race.

Training partners Kevin Wood and Lewis Rodgers, who are both coached by Ron Morrison in St Andrews, ran well to place in the top 10 and clock fast times despite the windy conditions.

Scottish cross country bronze medallist Kevin finished sixth in 67.22 while Lewis finished just one place behind in seventh in a huge personal best of 67.59.

A handful of Fife AC juniors made the journey south to compete against some of the best cross country runners in the UK at the final British Cross Challenge in Loughborough.

Anna Hedley ended what has been another hugely successful cross country season on a high, finishing the U17 women’s race in fourth place.

Anna, who was comfortably the first Scot home, led the Scotland East team of Rosie Davidson, Pippa Carcas and Georgia Ledingham to team gold and secured second place over the British Cross Challenge series as a whole.
