The Canadian forward has signed for French side Gap after just one season in Kirkcaldy.

The 33-year old teamed up with brother Paul to ice with Flyers in a disappointing 2019-20 campaign, joining them from Coventry Blaze.

It brings the total number of departees from last season’s roster to seven.

Crowder has already spent a chunk of his hockey career in France, icing with Angers from 2013-2017 and then a short spell with Chamonix in the latter half of the 2017-18 season after a brief spell in Czech hockey.

Crowder joins a growing number of EIHL players opting to move on as the UK league prepares to make a final call on whether the 2020-21 campaign will even begin after already pushing the start date back from September to December.

Flyers have already lost key forward Mike Cazzola to Italian hockey, while their all-time EIHL record points scorer, Carlo Finucci has gone to Corona Brasov in Hungary.

Chase Schaber has opted for Germany, and defenceman, Michal Gutwald, is bound for Poland, while Sam Jones, has signed for Sheffield Steelers, and veteran, Scott Aarssen, has retired.

Only three British based players have been unveiled as signings, with the league due to announce next week whether the season goes ahead.
