Lundin Ladies captain drives off with a win

Lundin Ladies Golf Club teed up its new season with a match between teams representing the new captain, Jan Stuart, and vice-captain, Heather Fleming.

Some 36 golfers went head to head over the club's nine-hole course during an afternoon of terrific competition.

The result in the end was a win for the captain's team by 12 and a half matches to 5 and a half.

The nearest the pin competition, on the par three sixth hole, was won by Pam Seath.

The club also recently contested the two club and putter competition which was played over 14 holes on Wednesday, March 17.
