The event will take the place of the usual annual Kirkcaldy and Central Fife Sports Council Awards, which have been postponed because of the pandemic.

Nominations for the Awards may include clubs, groups, coaches, parents, committee members or participants who have gone above and beyond to keep connected with their team/members/ committees and communities throughout the pandemic.

A spokesman for KCFCS urged people to nominate, saying: “It has been a very difficult time for all, however I am sure you are all aware of clubs, groups and individuals who have gone above and beyond to boost morale and bring communities together throughout this time.”

Every successful nominee will receive a certificate of recognition.

You can make a nomination online via a link on the Kirkcaldy and Central Fife Sports Council Facebook page.

Nominations will close on April 30.
