Tour time resumes for Connor Syme and Calum Hill

All roads lead to the Oman Open this week for European Tour pros Calum Hill and Connor Syme.

Both have enjoyed a brief break from life on tour so head into this weekend’s event refreshed and ready to add some more points to their Race to Dubai tallies.

Both Connor, from Drumoig, and Calum, of Kinross, have made impressive starts to the tour season.

Connor is having his second bite at retaining his tour card and will go into Oman some way off the danger zone.

With the top 110 players keeping their card for next season, Connor currently lies in 62nd place on 127 points from the five tournaments he’s played.

Calum also rejoins the tour this week and he too is in healthy place heading into Oman.

He sits 92nd on the Race to Dubai order of merit, having won 73.8 points for the five events he’s played.

The tournament is due to tee off in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Calum will be out first and is grouped with Oliver Farr and Cormac Sharvin.

Connor has Laurie Canter and Aaron Cockerill for company.

After Oman, the tour then heads to Qatar, Kenya.and India.
