Organised by Euan Muir, several Howe senior players and the club president took part in Movember to help generate funds to support men’s health, making a difference in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Howe president Gordon Douglas said the club was delighted to get involved and raise so much money for deserving causes.

He said: “There were varying degrees of success in terms of facial hair, however, the most important thing is they have so far raised £2600 and hopefully still rising.

“In a time where Howe of Fife Rugby is grateful for any financial assistance, it gave the boys pleasure and satisfaction to raise money for another worthwhile cause.”
