The Scots arrived in Italy on the back of some decent enough performances and their confidence showed as they managed to grind out a 17-0 victory.

Ritchie was unlucky not to get a try in the game as he once again impressed for the Scots.

There were calls in some quarters for Horne to start the game but he had to settle for a place on the bench, appearing as a second half sub.
