Falkland Trail Runner Zoey Johnston secured first female place at the Tiger Escapade multi terrain race at Blairadam Forest
Set in the stunning surroundings of Blairadam Forest near Kelty, just fewer than 200 runners had to negotiate ten obstacles along the eight kilometre course.
In all 19 members from the Falkland club contested in the inaugural running of the event with Zoey leading home the female contingent in 1hr 02mins.
At the ninth annual Giffordtown 5 kilometre road race, four club members competed in the flat out and back course.
Leading at the turn at 2.5k, and holding a slight advantage within the tightly set pack of three runners, Conan McCaughey (Central Athletic Club), destroyed the field setting a course record crossing the line in 15 mins 24 secs.
Falkland Trail Runners were amongst the medals with Tony Martin taking first vet over-60 award in a time of 18 mins11 secs which also placed him 22nd overall.
Brian Cruickshank had to settle for second over-50 in 18m.17s and 23rd overall.
The ever improving Peter Rieu Clark secured third place in the over-70 category posting an incredible 25s 18s.
Adrian Wood was 52nd in 20m.21s.
On Saturday morning FTR members were out and about at no fewer than five differen 5km parkruns.

Falkland Trail Runners host the third annual Tufty Trail Race at Falkland Estate this Sunday.
The race distance is approx 5.5 miles, held on trails and paths within the beautiful surroundings of Falkland Estate.
All 170 places were gobbled up within a few hours of the event going live on the internet.
