The right back only recently announced his retirement at the age of 35 after being released from Aston Villa last summer. He earned 50 Scotland caps an turned out for the likes of Rangers, Tottenham and even had a spell in Spain with Mallorca during his career.
. David Weir
Already a 'veteran' of the team at the time, he had moved to Rangers after leaving Everton that summer. He ended his playing career with the Ibrox club and was assistant manager to Mark Warburton from 2015-2017. Most recently he was working with Brighton & Hove Albion.
. Stephen McManus
McManus ended his playing career with Motherwell in 2017 after also representing Middlesborough, Bristol City and most memorably Celtic whom he captained. He is currently Under 18s manager at Celtic Park.
. Gary Naysmith
The full-back ended his career with East Fife in 2016. He became manager at Bayview and then Queen of the South. He currently works with boyhood club Hearts where he manages the club's loaned out players.
. Scott Brown
Brown has gone on to have an illustrious career with Celtic winning trophy after trophy as captain of the Bhoys. He retired internationally in August 2016, reversed his decision the following October then retired again in February 2018.
. Darren Fletcher
The Manchester United midfielder earned 80 caps for his country. He is a free agent after leaving Stoke City in the summer and has not officially announced his retirement although is studying for his coaching qualifications and occasionally working as a TV pundit.
