At the recent National Meeting in Bisley, Ken returned to the Kingdom with four trophies and several silver and bronze medals.

“After my success at the Scottish Championships in July I was hoping not to crash back down to earth with a bump,” he said.

“In the main competition, the X-class Grand Aggregate, I came third, missing the silver medal by just one point.

“I won the Double English Match which is shot on the same electronic targets as are used in the Olympics.

“I retained the John Pearman for the best combined aggregate at the Scottish and Bisley Meetings and the Frank Brown Memorial Shield for the highest scoring veteran in any class.

“In the Home Countries International Match I led the Scottish Team and we came a creditable second to England.”

During this match, Ken also win the Cat Hartop Cup for the highest score.”

As a result of his successes Ken has been selected again to shoot in the Great Britain Team in the Wakefield Match in September.

“This will bring what has been a very successful outdoor season for me to a fitting climax,” he added.
