The lads then faced England Juniors but lost out 9-25; 18-25. It was derby time then as the East Boys’ met Scotland West and it was victory for East winning 25-19; 25-7. The final game of the round robin fixtures was against Northern Ireland. Ireland won a close fought first set 25-23 but Scotland East bounced back to take the next two sets 25-13; 25-5.

With both England teams contesting the final won by England Juniors it was the bronze medal play off between Scotland East and Northern Ireland which had all the local Perth & Kinross interest.

With team captain Lewis Crockart playing outside hitter and Jack McKelvey playing the important libero role the set started nervously with both sides trading point for point. The Scotland East boys just edged the first set 25-23 but were far more convincing in the second set winning it 25-19 to secure bronze medals.

The presentation ceremony concluded with a presentation of gold Mikasa volleyballs to the best players overall with Jack McKelvey winning best libero.
